The Service

## Specialist Brick Slip Labour For Contractors
Commercial and new-build work is judged differently to a domestic feature wall. The finish is inspected, photographed for marketing and repeated across plots or units, so consistency across the whole scheme matters as much as the quality of any single wall.

We work as the brick slip specialist alongside main contractors, developers and shopfitters. That means agreed setting out, a consistent blend across the scheme and a team that turns up when the programme says it should.

Because brick slips are all we do, the detailing that usually slows a general team down, particularly corners, reveals and soffits, is routine work here.

### Who it is for
Main contractors needing a specialist subcontractor for the brick slip element.
- Developers cladding new-build plots or apartment blocks.
- Shopfitters and fit-out contractors working on bars, restaurants and retail units.
- Architects and specifiers who need the detail delivered as drawn.

### When it is needed

- When the same finish has to be repeated consistently across plots or units.
- When the programme is fixed and the brick slip package needs a reliable trade.
- When the specification includes corners, reveals and returns that must be right first time.

Why It Matters

## Where Commercial Brick Slip Packages Go Wrong
The most common failure on a scheme is inconsistency. Different batches, different setting out and different hands across plots produce walls that do not read as one development, and that is exactly what shows up in marketing photography.

The second is sequencing. Brick slips need a sound, dry, prepared substrate. Bringing the trade in too early costs more than waiting, because the slips end up fixed to something that was never ready.

The third is detailing. Corners, window reveals and soffits are where a general team improvises and where an inspector looks first.

### Common mistakes we are called in to fix

- Ordering across multiple batches without checking blend consistency.
- Starting before the substrate is dry and sound.
- Leaving corner detailing to be resolved on site.
- Setting out each plot independently rather than to one agreed standard.
- Pointing in different mortar colours across the same scheme.

Our Process

## Five Steps From First LookTo Guaranteed Finish

- 01
### Step 1 — Inspection
We look at the actual wall, not a description of it. Substrate type, flatness, moisture, existing finishes, sockets, skirtings, window reveals and the way daylight hits the surface all change what the finished wall will look like. Send photographs and rough measurements, or ask for samples, and we will tell you straight away whether the wall is suitable as it stands.

- 02
### Step 2 — Brick Selection & Free Quote
You choose the brick from the full range with samples in your hand, in daylight, against your own colour samples. We then set out the quantity required including wastage and corner slips, and issue a free, no-obligation quote covering supply and fit, or supply only if you would rather fit it yourself.

- 03
### Step 3 — Preparation & Protection
Surfaces, floors and furniture are protected before the first slip goes anywhere near the wall. The substrate is prepared so the adhesive bonds to something sound, and the setting-out is marked before fixing begins — bond pattern, joint width, start course and corner returns are all decided in advance rather than improvised halfway up the wall.

- 04
### Step 4 — Installation
Setting out is agreed once and repeated across the scheme so every unit matches. Slips are fixed to the agreed bond with proper corner slips at every return, and reveals and soffits are detailed to the specification rather than improvised.

- 05
### Step 5 — Pointing, Verification & Guarantee
Joints are pointed in the specified mortar colour and cleaned down. We walk the work with your site manager, snag it there and then, and hand over a consistent finish across the scheme. Installations are backed by our 25-year workmanship guarantee.

What You Get

## The Difference A SpecialistMakes To The Finish

### Consistency Across The Scheme
One setting-out standard and one blend, so plots and units match each other.

### Programme-Led Working
We fit around your sequence rather than expecting the site to work around us.

### Specialist Detailing
Corners, reveals and soffits are routine work, not a problem to be solved on site.

### Single Responsible Trade
The brick slip package sits with one specialist, which shortens the snag list.

### 25-Year Workmanship Guarantee
The same guarantee that covers domestic work covers our commercial installations.

### Supply Or Supply And Fit
We can supply the slips for your own team or deliver the full package.
